English Songs in Vocabulary Learning:Higher-Education Students’ Perceived Views

This survey study investigated students' perceptions of using English songs towards their vocabulary learning. It involved 59 sixth-semester Language Education Study Program students at a private university in Central Java. Data were collected from closed questionnaire distributed to the research participants via Google Form. The quantitatively analyzed data demonstrated that average percentage three indicators – perceived object, sensory organs or receptors, and attention was 86%, included ‘Strongly Agree’ criterion based on interval measurement. results mean could help them learn, acquire, retain new vocabulary. showed deemed attract interest learning Using helped remember forms, meanings, uses newly acquired considered listening practical fun method for learning, developing, retaining Therefore, this can be used as consideration lecturers use boost motivation learn vocabulary; consequently, they suitably.
